With over 2 million tourists visiting Grand Cayman every year there is a thriving hospitality and tourism industry here. Careers in hospitality and tourism aren’t all about catching the sun and having a good time while on the job and they definitely aren’t always your average nine-to-five office job either.
Roles vary depending on the area but can cover anything from Chefs or Chauffer’s to Hotel Managers. Generally, though you’ll need great customer service skills to ensure guests have great experiences whether they are in a hotel, bar, restaurant, attraction or coffee shop. It’s also worth considering roles aren’t always focused on the entry level and there are often roles going from team leaders all the way up to management levels.
