What experience is needed?

The experience needed to work in corporate services is reflective of the level at which you’re entering the industry. Generally speaking, corporate services roles require a solid understanding of offshore financial services and the sector the client operates in. 


Due to the nature of the role, you will need strong organisational skills and superb attention to detail. Additionally, if working at a service provider/as you move up the ladder to more managerial roles, you may be client-facing, so excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Along with these soft skills, you will need experience in certain software such as CORIS and CAP. Although not always required, an ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) qualification could also help your career.

Corporate Administrators

Corporate administrators are responsible for a range of tasks, including the registration and incorporation of companies, reviewing documentation, liaising with regulatory authorities, filing and maintaining records and invoicing.

Corporate Services Managers/Directors 

Corporate services managers oversee the corporate services team and ensure that all operations are running smoothly. They are responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business, and ensuring that corporate service offerings are delivered to the highest standards.
