What experience is needed?
Fund administrators should have a solid understanding of due diligence requirements to ensure that investors are legally compliant to invest. Board Support professionals should have experience in providing administrative support to senior-level executives, minute-taking experience, as well as knowledge of corporate governance and board procedures. An ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) qualification or working towards this qualification will also help your career.

Board Support
Board Support professionals provide administrative support to the board of directors, including preparing meeting agendas drafting and distributing minutes of board meetings and managing board correspondence.
Fund Administrator
As a Fund Administrator, you will carry out administrative tasks that help to support the running of a fund and help to keep the fund compliant. This primarily involves processing investor transactions, gathering, filing and maintaining investor records and due diligence and handling investor communications. This type of work can have many labels, including Investor Services, Shareholder Services and Registrar and Transfer Agency.
