As the fifth largest financial centre in the world there is a lot of fund activity on Grand Cayman. Funds are a form of collective investment that allow a person or entity to invest indirectly in equities and other investments.
The main role on Island are for Fund Administrators who support the fund. As a Fund Administrator this means setting up new investors on their database, preparing investor statements and updating subscriptions and redemptions of transactions on the fund. A Fund Administrator will also have an understanding of compliance and due diligence to ensure that investors are legally compliant to invest.
Over their career a Fund Administrator can move through different levels of seniority up to managing their own team of administrators.
