A trust is a legal agreement that allows a trustee to hold assets on behalf of a beneficiary. A trustee will administer the trust, manage assets and investments, keep records and pay expenses or other distributions of income. A trust company that acts as the trustee is typically a division of an associated company of a commercial bank.
As a Trust Administrator you will provide administration support on the trusts including preparing/editing documentation, maintaining due diligence files and processing payments.
A Trust Officer will undertake the more complex administration of the trust as well as being responsible for the development and maintenance of relationships with clients, relationship managers, investment advisors and other professional service providers.
