Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temp-to-Perm Accountant (Non?Qualified) to support a busy finance team during a period of extended medical leave. In this role, you will assist with general accounting duties within a well?established organisation, contributing to the smooth running of the department while bringing strong technical skills and a proactive, hands?on approach.

Responsibilities and Duties
In this role, you will:
- Support the accounting team with day?to?day finance operations.
- Perform general accounting tasks such as reconciliations, invoicing, and data entry.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month?end and year?end processes.
- Prepare and update spreadsheets and financial reports as required.
- Use QuickBooks and Excel to manage and process financial information.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting queries.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and organisation of the finance department.
Qualifications and Skills
You will be a strong fit for this role if you have:
- 5–6 years of general accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands?on accounting experience (no professional qualification required).
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- The capacity to work effectively in a small team.
- A reliable, professional, and proactive work ethic.
