We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties
As the Accounts Receivable Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing daily accounts receivable tasks in line with financial policies and procedures
- Preparing and sending invoices for tuition, resources, and other school-related fees
- Processing incoming payments and posting them to customer accounts using QuickBooks
- Reconciling accounts receivable ledgers and resolving discrepancies
- Managing collections and communicating with parents and stakeholders regarding outstanding payments
- Preparing financial reports, including aged analysis and delinquency reports
- Assisting with general accounting duties such as petty cash reconciliation and bank lodgements
- Supporting the Finance Manager with budget preparation and financial reporting
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree, diploma, or recognised qualification in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of general accounting principles and practices
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
