Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a finance-driven Business Analyst with a strong focus on automation to join their Real Estate Finance team. This role is pivotal in optimising financial operations by identifying inefficiencies, implementing automation solutions, and supporting data-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Analyse and assess current finance processes (e.g., budgeting, reporting, invoicing, reconciliations) to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement automation solutions using Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) to streamline repetitive and manual financial tasks.
• Ensure automated workflows are robust, accurate, auditable, and aligned with finance requirements.
• Partner with the Business Data Analyst and broader finance team to understand data needs, reporting gaps, and pain points in financial workflows.
• Translate business and finance requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions.
• Support the integration of automation tools with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and other internal systems.
• Collect, validate, and analyse financial and operational data to provide insights that drive data-informed decision-making.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualise financial performance, workflow metrics, and process improvement outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on process improvement, automation, and/or data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience working within a finance function, especially in environments with high transaction volume.
• Proficient in Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) with the ability to develop and maintain automation solutions.
• Comfortable working with large financial data sets and creating meaningful visualisations and dashboards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse data and identify trends or inconsistencies that impact financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
