About the Opportunity

Job Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a passionate and experienced  Donor Relations & Communications Coordinator . This full-time role is based in  Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands , and offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the non-profit sector. You will be instrumental in nurturing donor relationships and driving communication strategies that support fundraising and advocacy efforts.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate donors.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies including email campaigns, newsletters, and social media.
  • Manage donor databases and maintain accurate records of interactions and contributions.
  • Lead donor stewardship initiatives to encourage long-term engagement.
  • Collaborate on the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Create compelling stories and reports to showcase the impact of donor support.
  • Support all aspects of donor communications to enhance fundraising success.
  • Ensure consistent and engaging messaging across all communication channels.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in donor relations, communications, or fundraising within a non-profit setting in the Cayman Islands, United States or Canada.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain donor relationships.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for diverse audiences.
  • Experience with donor databases and targeted communication strategies.
  • Highly organised with excellent project and time management skills.
  • A personal connection to disability advocacy is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Salesforce, DonorPerfect, or similar tools is preferred.
