Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a dynamic and high-performing legal team within a private investment office based in the Cayman Islands. This is a pivotal role offering a blend of executive support, legal secretarial duties, and administrative coordination. You will be joining a close-knit legal team that plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s investment and operational activities.

Responsibilities and Duties
As Executive Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to lawyers, including diary, phone, and travel management.
  • Managing legal documents and maintaining organised filing systems.
  • Drafting, editing, and finalising contracts, legal reports, and other documentation.
  • Coordinating board meetings, taking minutes, and preparing resolutions.
  • Monitoring deadlines and supporting efficient team operations.
  • Assisting with AML and compliance documentation collation.
  • Participating in legal and operational projects as required.
  • Handling ad-hoc tasks assigned by the General Counsel.

Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A minimum of 8 years’ recent experience as an Executive Assistant or Legal Secretary, with at least 3 years in the Cayman Islands.
  • Prior experience at a top-tier law firm.
  • Strong familiarity with Cayman Islands laws, corporate documents, and regulatory filings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working experience with iManage document management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and across teams.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
