We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading financial services organisation in the Cayman Islands, for an experienced Finance Analyst specialising in Financial and Management Reporting. You will support accurate month-end reporting, reconciliations, audit requirements, intercompany accounting and financial analysis across a varied portfolio of banking and wealth management entities.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the month-end close process, including preparing and posting journals to the general ledger.
- Complete monthly general ledger reconciliations, certifications and attestations, including GAAP reconciliations.
- Prepare intercompany balance schedules, payments, charge-outs and reporting against plan, investigating variances where required.
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules and prepare the associated accounting entries.
- Coordinate external audit requests, confirmations and supporting reports to help meet statutory deadlines.
- Produce financial analysis, reports and insights to support management decision-making.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly tax account information and respond to related queries.
- Assist with the implementation of new IFRS requirements, accounting policies, procedures and general ledger accounts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Formal training in accounting, banking or finance, supported by relevant financial services experience.
- Strong accounting knowledge, financial judgement and understanding of financial reporting processes.
- Knowledge of banking operations, accounting procedures, financial reporting systems and relevant policies.
- Advanced computer literacy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, combined with professional judgement and tact.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships with senior management and internal and external stakeholders.
