Job Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and detail-oriented  Finance Assistant (Billing)  to join their Professional Services team. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone with a background in finance or administration who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will play a key role in supporting the billing function and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of client invoicing.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Finance Assistant (Billing), your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing invoices for a designated portfolio of clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintaining and updating client billing information to ensure invoice accuracy.
  • Assisting with annual and bi-annual billing cycles.
  • Creating consolidated statements for clients with multiple accounts.
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve billing-related queries.
  • Managing the finance mailbox and ensuring timely responses to billing requests.
  • Conducting regular exception reporting to maintain data integrity.
  • Supporting additional finance tasks as required by the business.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 2 to 5 years of administrative or accounting experience in a corporate or financial setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Viewpoint, Oracle, and SSRS reporting.
  • Experience with E-billing platforms like CounselLink, Legal Tracker, TyMetrix, CounselGO, and Collaboration.
