Responsibilities and Duties
As a Junior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing daily position and cash reconciliations with banks, brokers, and custodians.
- Posting transactions related to financial control, including payables, receivables, and shadow accounting entries.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and accompanying notes.
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data for management reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting and a commitment to pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A high level of accuracy and a commitment to excellence.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
