Responsibilities and Duties

As a Junior Accountant, your role will include:

• Assisting in the planning and execution of audit assignments across various sectors
• Preparing financial statements and audit documentation in line with regulatory standards
• Supporting senior auditors during fieldwork and client meetings
• Conducting analytical reviews and variance analysis
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Maintaining accurate and organised audit files
• Liaising with clients to gather necessary financial information
• Contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the audit team

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least your Associates (with a Finance focus)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive approach to learning and professional development
• Previous internship or work experience in audit or finance (desirable but not essential)
