Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Accounts Intern to join their finance team on a 6-month internship. This opportunity is specifically designed for a young Caymanian who is either currently studying accounting or finance, or planning to begin university soon. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, learning core accounting processes while developing valuable workplace skills that will support your future career.

Responsibilities and Duties
In this role, you will:
- Assist with creating and issuing invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Support the posting and reconciliation of incoming payments
- Prepare and send customer account statements
- Learn and assist with general accounts administration tasks
- Identify and troubleshoot basic accounting issues with guidance
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to support daily finance operations
- Develop an understanding of accounting systems and procedures
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Be a Caymanian student currently studying or planning to study Accounting or Finance
- Have a strong interest in developing a career in accounting or financial services
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Possess basic numeracy and problem-solving skills
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be reliable, punctual and able to manage your time effectively
