Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dynamic and customer-focused Personal Banking Officer to join a high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for personal finance, relationship management, and sales excellence. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing tailored financial advice, and driving customer satisfaction through superior service and digital engagement.

You will be joining a supportive team within the Personal & Small Business Banking division, focused on delivering value to mid-market and affluent clients.

Responsibilities and Duties
As a Personal Banking Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a portfolio of approximately 500 affluent clients through face-to-face and virtual channels.
  • Meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets across various banking products.
  • Providing practical financial solutions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities and referring clients to other banking segments.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through proactive service.
  • Educating clients on digital banking tools and self-service options.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and scheduling follow-ups using CRM systems.
  • Upholding compliance standards, including KYC, AML, and internal policies.

Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking, preferably in sales or operations.
  • An undergraduate degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtually.
  • Working knowledge of banking regulations and financial products.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital relationship tools.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and market trends.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a drive for results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
