In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless and compliant client onboarding experience, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will play a key role in ensuring all onboarding activities meet regulatory requirements while maintaining excellent client service standards.

Responsibilities and Duties
As a Senior Client Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process and ensuring all regulatory and internal standards are met:
- Review and process new client onboarding applications in line with AML/KYC requirements
- Liaise with clients, intermediaries, and Relationship Managers to obtain and verify documentation
- Assess client structures, business activities, and source of funds to support risk-based decisions
- Act as a key point of coordination between business development, compliance, and internal teams
- Ensure onboarding timelines are adhered to and service standards are consistently met
- Monitor outstanding requirements and proactively follow up to ensure completion
- Support periodic reviews and ongoing maintenance of existing client accounts
- Contribute to reporting, onboarding metrics, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong technical knowledge alongside excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years’ experience in client onboarding, AML/KYC, or financial services
- Solid understanding of AML regulations, compliance frameworks, and international financial services
- Professional certification such as CAMS (desirable)
- Experience working with complex client structures (corporate, trust, or offshore) preferred
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
