We are recruiting for a Temp-to-Perm Bookkeeper on behalf of our client, a well-regarded local retail organisation. This role involves independently handling bookkeeping tasks and collaborating with a supportive management team.

Our client operates within the service contracts industry. The company fosters a friendly and professional environment, valuing autonomy and teamwork. You will join a team of approximately 30 people, working closely with the group’s accountant on a quarterly basis.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage payroll processes.
- Reconcile credit card transactions.
- Handle accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
- Process vendor and customer payments.
- Issue weekly bank balance updates to ownership.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with management on financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Xero.
- Proven bookkeeping expertise.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
