You will be joining a collaborative finance team within a structured and process-driven environment. The culture emphasises accuracy, professionalism, and service delivery, with a strong focus on supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a range of finance operations, including:
  • Processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring invoices are verified, coded, and processed accurately
  • Handling accounts receivable activities, including raising invoices, processing payments, and issuing receipts
  • Generating and managing purchase orders in line with procurement procedures
  • Responding to queries from vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams regarding invoices and payments
  • Monitoring outstanding invoices and supporting debt collection processes where required
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper documentation flow within the finance team
  • Assisting with payroll-related transactions, petty cash, and other financial duties
  • Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and ad hoc tasks as needed

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate the following:
  • A high school diploma with at least five GCSEs (or equivalent), including Mathematics and English
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a finance or accounts-related role
  • Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience using accounting systems, databases, and Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage queries professionally
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of tasks within tight deadlines
  • A proactive approach with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
