We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent organisation within the public and statutory sector for an Interim Director on a temporary basis for up to three months. This senior leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced executive who can provide strategic direction, oversee day-to-day operations, and work closely with a Board to ensure the effective management of programmes, employees, finances, and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities and Duties
As Interim Director, you will:
- Provide strategic and operational advice to the Board and implement approved decisions, policies, and plans.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, programmes, facilities, and service delivery.
- Establish organisational objectives, performance goals, and operational priorities.
- Lead, develop, and support management and administrative teams.
- Oversee budgets, expenditure, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Support the preparation of budgets, financial statements, reports, and organisational records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, industry partners, and government entities.
- Represent the organisation at meetings, events, committees, and official functions as required.
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- A Master's degree in Business Administration and senior management experience; or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related field with significant management experience.
- Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience managing operations, projects, budgets, assets, or multiple business functions.
- Knowledge of business administration, financial management, human resources, procurement, governance, and organisational operations.
- Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and organisational improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to organisational systems and processes.
