In this role, you will help manage monthly financial reporting, ensure accurate financial controls, and provide essential support across the wider team. Responsibilities and Duties
As the Temporary Finance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing cash management reports and supporting daily treasury processes.
- Posting general ledger journals and completing detailed transaction checks.
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining fixed asset registers.
- Managing prepayment schedules and preparing associated journals.
- Processing bill payments and maintaining accrual schedules.
- Preparing and reviewing daily manager’s draft reconciliations.
- Assisting with inter?company account reconciliations and invoice processing.
- Providing administrative support, filing reports, and ensuring documentation accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Ideally an Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least two years’ relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Strong organisational and time?management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills when liaising with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support wider finance functions.
