Responsibilities and Duties
As a Temporary Operational HR Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering end-to-end recruitment services for both temporary and permanent roles.
- Managing pension benefits and employee enrolments.
- Maintaining and updating job descriptions and organisational charts.
- Providing frontline support on employee relations and performance matters.
- Coordinating employee engagement, recognition, and welfare initiatives.
- Supporting performance management processes and training coordination.
- Generating monthly HR reports on key metrics such as turnover and absenteeism.
- Offering administrative support across HR functions, including payroll coordination and policy implementation.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with 3–5 years of HR experience, or an Associate’s degree with 5–8 years of experience.
- Proven expertise in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of public sector HR frameworks and employment legislation.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as HRIS and MyVista.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently in a high-pressure, confidential environment.
- Experience in payroll and benefits administration is highly desirable.
