We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Immigration Specialist to support a busy People & Culture function. In this role, you will manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of immigration services across multiple business units. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance, drafting submissions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and procedures.

- Coordinate and deliver timely immigration services for a portfolio of companies.
- Prepare, submit, and manage all types of immigration applications, including work permits, visas, visitor permits, and exemptions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for immigration matters involving visitors, consultants, and temporary staff.
- Liaise with internal project teams, external consultants, and government agencies to support immigration submissions.
- Gather required documentation and prepare cover letters and supporting correspondence.
- Track application progress and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records, data entry, and expense management in internal systems.
- Provide backup support to the wider immigration team and assist with ad hoc tasks or projects as required.
- An Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- At least five years’ experience in an HR environment, with a minimum of three years in an immigration?focused role.
- Strong understanding of immigration best practices and relevant employment legislation.
- Confident communicator with the ability to advise and support stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and maintain strict confidentiality.
