In this role, you will support both payroll and accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Accounts Payable
- Receive, review, and process supplier invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Apply correct coding and cost allocation in line with company policies.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure appropriate approval.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payment run reports with fully validated and approved invoices.
- Maintain accurate and up?to?date supplier records.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships by handling queries efficiently.
- Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox and action communications promptly.
- Prepare and submit gratuity and tip pool calculations in line with company policy.
- Accurately calculate employee pay, including overtime, allowances, and deductions.
- Review timesheets to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Process and track employee leave, vacation, and sick leave.
- Respond to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and submit pension reports.
- Maintain reconciled payroll records at all times.
- Process health insurance invoices and reconcile monthly deduction reports.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills and a proactive, organised approach to their work.
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (or working towards one) is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively within time?sensitive environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
