We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Judge’s Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative, secretarial and organisational support within a professional judicial environment. This temporary opportunity (3-6 months) is ideal for a highly organised and discreet individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting. You will play a key role in supporting senior judicial personnel, coordinating communications, managing schedules and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

Responsibilities and Duties
As the Judge’s Personal Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex and frequently changing diaries, schedules and appointments for senior judicial personnel.
- Acting as the primary point of contact between judges, legal professionals, court personnel and members of the public.
- Coordinating hearings, meetings and court-related activities, including document preparation and logistical arrangements.
- Preparing, proofreading, editing and distributing correspondence, reports, legal documents and administrative records.
- Accurately transcribing hearings, rulings, judgments, orders and other official records.
- Maintaining organised electronic and paper filing systems while ensuring sensitive information is securely handled
- Managing office administration activities, including visitor coordination, document management and resource maintenance.
- Supporting judicial operations by researching information, preparing notes and assisting with additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- An Associate’s Degree or equivalent with relevant administrative experience, or a Legal Secretary qualification combined with substantial office administration experience.
- Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Legal Secretary or in a senior administrative support role.
- Exceptional organisational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong English grammar and document editing abilities.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving capabilities.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and diplomacy.
- Fast and accurate typing skills, with experience producing high-quality documentation under pressure.
