Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly organised and experienced Secretary to join a dynamic Trusts and Regulatory team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is looking to gain valuable experience within a prestigious international firm. You will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to attorneys across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Format, amend, and proofread legal documents, including engagement letters and regulatory filings.
- Manage document printing, scanning, e-filing, and secure disposal in line with firm policies.
- Schedule meetings, video calls, and coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys.
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies such as the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) and local courts.
- Maintain and update client and matter information in internal systems (e.g., Interaction, iManage).
- Assist with compliance tasks including AML monitoring and onboarding documentation.
- Support marketing efforts by preparing itineraries, contact lists, and meeting notes.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as expense claims, invoice edits, and internal system searches.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 8 years’ secretarial experience, ideally within Corporate or Litigation law.
- Familiarity with Trusts and Estates law is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software such as ADEX, Adobe, iManage, Interaction, Darwin, Litera, and CORIS.
- Confident working across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
