About the Opportunity

Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Trust Assistant Manager (Private Clients). The successful candidate will manage and administer a complex portfolio of private client structures, focusing on relationship development, revenue generation, and resolving complex issues.

You will be joining a dedicated team that assists with the formation and administration of trusts, companies, and partnerships for both private and corporate clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer a portfolio of complex trust and corporate structures, holding portfolio and non-portfolio assets.
  • Manage relationships with settlors, beneficiaries, protectors, beneficial owners, and their advisors, investment managers, and other third parties.
  • On-board new structures by working with families, their advisors, and colleagues in business development and risk & compliance.
  • Ensure all structures are administered in accordance with applicable laws, relevant constitutional documents, and group policies and procedures.
  • Monitor, verify, and approve account transactions to maintain a strong AML environment.
  • Maintain Client Due Diligence for all structures.
  • Clear risk review action points within appropriate time frames.
  • Monitor the profitability of each relationship through accurate recording of time spent, charging, and collecting fees as agreed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as STEP, ACIB, or ACIS.
  • Excellent knowledge of trust and company administration.
  • Good knowledge of investments and/or banking.
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
