We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a technically skilled and client-focused Vice President to lead their AEOI team, specialising in structured finance and SPV transactions. This senior role involves managing FATCA and CRS compliance, overseeing client portfolios, and driving regulatory reporting excellence. You’ll play a key role in shaping the firm’s approach to international tax compliance and mentoring junior professionals.

Responsibilities and Duties
As Vice President – AEOI (Structured Finance), your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of AEOI professionals, providing technical guidance and oversight.
- Overseeing a portfolio of SPV clients to ensure accurate FATCA and CRS compliance and reporting.
- Managing client onboarding, due diligence, and classification processes in line with Cayman Islands regulations.
- Acting as the primary contact for SPV clients, advising on structuring and cross-border compliance.
- Reviewing and signing off on AEOI filings, IDD assessments, and remediation work.
- Mentoring junior staff and delivering technical training.
- Identifying process improvements, risk mitigation strategies, and revenue opportunities.
- Staying current with international tax and AEOI regulatory developments.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 8 years’ experience in AEOI compliance, with expertise in SPV securitisation and cross-border transactions.
- Proven knowledge of FATCA/CRS classification, due diligence, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Cayman Islands regulatory frameworks and AEOI reporting platforms.
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
- Prior experience in managing and mentoring teams.
- A proactive and strategic mindset with a focus on compliance and operational efficiency.
