This is a senior-level role responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, acting as Compliance Officer and MLRO, and supporting both local and global compliance initiatives. Responsibilities and Duties- Act as Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for regulated entities in the Cayman Islands.
- Ensure compliance with all local statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain and update internal policies and procedures in line with legislative changes.
- Monitor and review compliance operations and execute regular compliance reviews.
- Liaise with local regulatory authorities and assist with audits and inspections.
- Provide regulatory guidance to business divisions and advise Boards of Directors.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and boards.
- Support global compliance initiatives in coordination with Group Compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 3–5 years of experience in the Trust and Corporate Services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Prior experience as a Compliance Officer and MLRO, including regulator engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
