Nova Recruitment Announce Esther Cameron as Recipient of Annual 'Love Your Future' Educational Grant

Successful Caymanian student receives $3,000 to further their studies

Nova Recruitment has completed the selection process for their sixth annual 'Love Your Future' Educational Grant. The $3,000 grant is offered annually to a local student who has impressed the Nova team with their passion and dedication to pursuing their chosen career. The individual who received this year's grant is Esther Cameron, a young Caymanian pursuing her bachelor’s degree in biology, with a pre-dental focus.

Growing up, Esther struggled with self-acceptance as she was self-concious of her teeth as she had a gap in her smile, but after visiting with her dentist she gained her confidence back. She witnessed the profound effect that specialised support can have on a person, and it was this experience that ignited her passion to become an orthodontist herself and help others regain their confidence in the same way she had.

Impressing the Nova Recruitment team, Esther stood out from the 60+ applicants received for the grant this year—the most ever received since the inaugural year.

The team had the difficult task of reviewing numerous impressive applicants for the scholarship, but from the very start, Esther’s passion and determination truly touched their hearts. Her exceptional drive and dedication deeply moved the Nova team, and they are incredibly excited to witness the wonderful accomplishments they know she will achieve.

The 'Love Your Future' Educational Grant selection process focused on the areas Nova Recruitment knows are vital to a successful career – ambition, passion, integrity, work ethic and self-reliance. These attributes shone through in Esther’s application video, essay, and final interview, proving she is proactive and conscientious.
